FRANKFURT, Nov 12 (Reuters) - German flavours and fragrences maker Symrise (SY1G.DE) has hired the finance chief of Carl Zeiss Meditec (AFXG.DE), Bernd Hirsch, as new CFO, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.

Symrise declined to comment, while Karl Zeiss Meditec was not immediately available for comment.

Manager magazine earlier reported the personnel change, citing company sources.

Symrise said last week that its finance chief Dominique Yates would quit by year-end to take on a new role in Europe, adding it had already found a successor and would reveal his name at a later stage.
