NYMEX says Sentinel not a clearing member

NEW YORK, Aug 15 (Reuters) - NYMEX Holdings Inc. NMX.N said on Wednesday Sentinel Management Group Inc. is not a clearing member and does not have any funds on deposit with NYMEX.

The New York commodities exchange operator said it does not have funds on deposit with Sentinel. It added that all NYMEX clearing members continue to meet their obligations to NYMEX and remain in good standing. (Reporting by Joseph Giannone)
