Electronic Arts shows 2nd-quarter net loss

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Electronic Arts Inc (ERTS.O) posted a quarterly net loss , compared to a year-earlier profit on Thursday, as an accounting change led to a fall in net revenue at the world's biggest video game publisher.

Electronic Arts said net loss for its second fiscal quarter was $195 million, or 62 cents per share, compared with a profit of $22 million, or 7 cents a share, a year earlier. Net revenue was $640 million, down 18 percent from $784 million a year earlier. (Reporting by Scott Hillis)
