DETROIT, March 31 (Reuters) - Reddy Ice Holdings Inc (FRZ.N) said on Monday it had received a civil investigative demand from the Florida Attorney General's office in connection with a probe into possible price fixing in the packaged ice industry.

The Dallas-based company said it was cooperating with the investigation, noting that it appeared to be related to a previously disclosed antitrust probe of the industry by federal prosecutors.

In a filing with securities regulators, Reddy Ice said it was aware of 37 lawsuits seeking class action status in which it is named as one of the defendants alleged to have violated federal antitrust laws.
