KazMunaiGas EP sees production falling 3.5 pct in 2009

LONDON, June 17 (Reuters) - Kazakh oil producer KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (KMGq.L) (KMG EP) sees production falling 3.5 percent in 2009, Chief Executive Officer Kenzhebek Ibrashev told a Kazakh growth forum.

Slides from his presentation showed expected production this year falling to 11.6 million tonnes from 12.0 million last year.

Kazakh state energy firm KazMunaiGas [KMG.UL] owns a controlling stake in London-listed KMG EP.
