DUBLIN, July 8 (Reuters) - Irish drinks group C&C's (GCC.I) forecasts do not assume that the good weather which has boosted sales this year will continue and it prefers to reinvest the proceeds from any seasonal upswings, it said on Wednesday.

"We are a very seasonal business," an official told a conference call after C&C improved its full-year earnings forecast.

"There is always a danger of recognising seasonal profits because you are held to account next year in the like-for-like comparisons," he said.

"We've got a nice problem to wrestle with if we find ourselves having four months of sunshine," he said.
