NZ's Tower put on trading halt

WELLINGTON, Aug 24 (Reuters) - New Zealand insurer and fund manager Tower Ltd (TWR.NZ) was placed on trading halt on Monday pending a material announcement, the stock exchange said.

Shares in the company closed at NZ$1.81 on Friday.
