TEXT-NZ's TrustPower scraps Aust. wind farm

WELLINGTON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - New Zealand power company TrustPower Ltd (TPW.NZ) said on Thursday that it would not proceed with a proposed wind farm in South Australia.

It said it had scrapped the 48 MegaWatt Myponga wind farm because the South Australian government would not support a variation in the height, layout and turbine type in the existing approval for the scheme.
