Danaos files mixed shelf for up to $1 billion

Nov 2 (Reuters) - Danaos Corp (DAC.N) filed a mixed shelf for debt securities, warrants, purchase contracts, units, common stock and preferred stock for up to $1 billion, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shipping company also said selling stockholders or their pledgees, donees, transferees or other successors in interest, may offer and sell from time to time up to 44.3 million common shares. (Reporting by Manish Gupta in Bangalore)
