Curis says enters into private placement deal

Aug 6 (Reuters) - Curis Inc. (CRIS.O) said it will privately place an aggregate of 12.2 million common shares, and issue warrants to purchase 4.3 million shares to certain institutional and accredited investors.

The drug developer intends to use the net proceeds of about $12.9 million to support its research and development efforts and for other general corporate purposes. (Reporting by Sreerupa Mitra in Bangalore)
