Transition ends diabetes pact with Novo Nordisk

TORONTO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Transition Therapeutics Inc (TTH.TO) said on Monday it will cancel its partnership agreement with Novo Nordisk AS (NOVOb.CO) on its diabetes program and take back all its rights held by Novo after the two companies failed to come to terms on a licensing agreement.

Transition said it would continue discussions with other interested parties concerning the diabetes programs.
