Consolidated Water facilities minimally damaged in hurricane

Aug 21 (Reuters) - Consolidated Water Co Ltd (CWCO.O) said initial assessments indicate minimal damage to its facilities and distribution system on Grand Cayman due to Hurricane Dean. The company said the major properties in its retail service areas of Seven Mile Beach and West Bay were also not seriously affected by the storm.

The Cayman Islands-based company resumed piping water to its customers, which was ceased in preparation for the hurricane, on Aug. 20. (Reporting by Esha Dey in Bangalore)
