REFILE-Apple names Avon Products CEO to board

Jan 7 (Reuters) - Apple Inc (AAPL.O) said it named Andrea Jung, chief executive officer and chairman of Avon Products (AVP.N), to its board of directors.

Jung, who is also on the board of General Electric Co (GE.N), will be Apple's eighth board member, the maker of the Macintosh computer, iPod and iPhone said in a news release. (Reporting by Dinesh Nair; Editing by Pratish Narayanan)
