NMT Medical says to close trial

Jan 23 (Reuters) - NMT Medical Inc (NMTI.O) said it will close a trial testing its technology in treating migraine that may be caused by a heart defect, due to difficulties in enrolling subjects.

In a statement, the company said it will now focus on testing the technology in patients who may develop stroke as a result of a heart malfunction. (Reporting by Varsha Tickoo in Bangalore)
