E-House files for public offering of 7 mln ADS

Jan 28 (Reuters) - Chinese real-estate services company E-House (China) Holdings Ltd (EJ.N) filed with U.S. regulators to publicly offer 7 million American depositary shares.

The Shanghai-based company told the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission in a filing that it is offering 6 million ADSs, and a selling shareholder, Smart Create Group Ltd, is offering an additional 1 million ADSs.

Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch & Co, Lazard Capital Markets and Susquehanna Financial Group LLLP were underwriting the offering, it said. Each ADS represents one ordinary share. (Reporting by Aditi Samajpati in Bangalore; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
