Vantex Appoints New CFO

  LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC, Dec 24 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
 Vantex Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: VTX) announces the nomination of Mr.
Francois Marcotte as the Company's new CFO. Mr. Marcotte that was
previously hired as a Corporate development consultant for Vantex in May
2007, is a graduate of Laval University in Science and Economics and has
been active for many years in corporate banking and Investor and public
relations for various public exploration companies.

    He will replace Mr. Michel Perron who decided to step down in order to
focus on other activities. Vantex board of directors wishes to thank Mr.
Perron for his involvement in the development of the Company over the
years and wishes him success in his new endeavours.

    Mr Marcotte was granted 150,000 stock options at a price of $0.115. These
option will expire in 5 years.
