Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan Launches Innovative Regional
Program: Non-Profit Cultural Arts Organizations to Benefit

DETROIT, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Cultural Concierge,
www.theculturalconcierge.org, is a new program of the Cultural Alliance of
Southeastern Michigan -- offering creative entertainment, events,
team-building and group sales within our region's diverse cultural arts
sector. Designed to increase earned revenue opportunities for non-profit
cultural arts organizations, The Cultural Concierge intends to forge a
stronger relationship between the business and cultural arts communities.

The Cultural Concierge coordinates holiday parties, client entertainment,
off-site meetings, staff teambuilding, group tickets, fundraising events and
much more. It offers a complimentary, one-stop solution to business needs
through four distinctive product lines:

-- Entertainment Experiences -- Memorable small group events featuring
special access and opportunity. Each experience, at organizations such
as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House,
and
Cranbrook Educational Community is customized and coordinated by a
        concierge.
-- Events & Parties -- The Cultural Concierge provides consulting to
clients looking to plan a large business or personal function. A
concierge will meet to determine the goals, scope and budget of the
event before recommending several appropriate cultural arts venues.
-- Learning & Teambuilding -- Utilizing the cultural assets in our
region,
organizations can coordinate full or half-day teambuilding events at a
variety of organizations, such as the Detroit Institute of Arts or The
        Henry Ford.

-- Group Sales -- For groups of any size, The Cultural Concierge arranges
affordable tickets for performances at Detroit Chamber Winds &
Strings,
University Musical Society, Music Hall and Michigan Opera Theater,
among
        others.

The Cultural Concierge was initiated by Cultural Alliance Board Member Evan
Weiner, Chief Operating Officer of the Edw. C. Levy Co. and chairman of The
Henry Ford, who partnered with thought leaders within Southeastern Michigan's
cultural arts sector to make the concept a reality. "It is exciting to see the
launch of this collaborative initiative," said Weiner. "We are all optimistic
about the potential it has to strengthen the bond between the business and
cultural arts communities."

Joan Moore, leader of the Inforum Arts and Culture Affinity Group, said her
first experience with The Cultural Concierge sold her on the value of the
program. Moore, president of The Arbor Consulting Group, a national human
resources consulting firm, said The Cultural Concierge was easy to use, and
provided an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

"Working with The Cultural Concierge gave our group the opportunity to have a
unique experience that would not have been possible otherwise," said Moore.

Funded by The Masco Foundation, The Cultural Concierge is a program of the
Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan, representing more than 90 cultural
institutions in seven counties. The Cultural Alliance is a 501(c)(3)
organization that develops and administers new approaches for increased earned
revenue, cost reduction, and greater efficiencies for arts and culture
organizations.
