Colorado energy utilities` efforts to design and implement energy efficiency
initiatives will be the focus of the 3rd Annual Colorado Utility Efficiency
Exchange to be presented from October 21-23, 2009 in Aspen, Colorado. Details

The goal of the Colorado Utility Efficiency Exchange is to facilitate a
networking and professional development conference for staff of energy utilities
and allies serving Colorado and neighboring states who are responsible for
developing and implementing customer programs related to energy/water
efficiency, renewable energy, demand response and key account customer
management. This event is expected to attract over 75 utility and sponsor
organization staff as well as trade allies that provide products and services to
support utility programs.
Panel presentations with utility program managers and sessions by industry
experts will explore incorporating energy efficiency initiatives into
utility-sponsored programs to leverage federal stimulus, state and
utility-sponsored incentive programs aimed at green collar workforce
development, energy efficiency, and carbon emissions reduction.
The event will be hosted by City of Aspen Utilities and sponsored by over 20
organizations, including: Xcel Energy, SourceGas, Western Area Power
Administration, Holy Cross Energy, Colorado Rural Electric Association, Platte
River Power Authority, The City of Longmont Power & Communications, Fort Collins
