declared monthly income dividends of $.0525 per share from tax-free
income.

   Morgan Stanley Insured California Municipal Securities is a
closed-end non-diversified management investment company investing
primarily in Municipal Obligations the interest on which is exempt
from federal and California income taxes and which are covered by
insurance guarantees with respect to timely payment of principal and
interest thereon.

   The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income
exempt from federal and California income taxes.
