ATLANTA--(Business Wire)--
Stacey Krizan has been elected Director of Communications of the
Meeting Professionals International, Georgia Chapter (GaMPI) Board of
Directors.

Ms. Krizan has served a year as Chair of GaMPI's BreakOut
Committee, which drives the chapter's quarterly magazine; she has been
a member of the committee since 2003. She joins established industry
leaders on the Board, which has committed to driving active
involvement of GaMPI's 1000+ membership as well as to raising
awareness and utilization of the tremendous professional resources the
chapter has developed.

"The Board is poised to bring many new opportunities to GaMPI, and
Stacey's holistic expertise in marketing, as well as meetings, is a
great asset for GaMPI and our members," said Brenda Dempsey, Director,
Southern Regional Office of the Nashville Convention and Visitors
Bureau and incoming president of GaMPI. "Her experience, her passion,
and her keen understanding of the results-driven events will be an
enormous benefit to this organization in our 30th year as a chapter."

Stacey is CEO of The WOW Factory, which she founded in 1997. Event
Marketer Magazine has cited The WOW Factory as one of the top 100
event marketing agencies in North America. In addition to developing a
remarkable organization focused on business to business meetings and
marketing, Stacey has continued to add to her credentials and grow her
skill-set; in 2006, she became a certified ROI professional -- one of
only a handful of such experts nationwide who focuses exclusively on
meetings and events.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the premiere
organization devoted to the educational and professional needs of
people in the meeting industry. With over 22,000 members globally, MPI
serves both meeting planners and suppliers to the industry, carefully
maintaining an equal balance of both in the membership. Celebrating
its 30th anniversary, the MPI, Georgia Chapter is currently the 5th
largest chapter with over 1,000 members.
