BETHESDA, MD, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ - Stratos Global Corporation, the leading

solutions, today announced it has been appointed as an Inmarsat Distribution
Partner for Inmarsat's new Global Satellite Phone Services (GSPS).
The new-generation Inmarsat GSPS will be available in 2010 in mobile,
fixed-land and fixed-maritime packages. Planned for launch at the end of the
second quarter of 2010, the IsatPhone Pro global handheld will be the first
Inmarsat GSPS terminal to become commercially available.
Inmarsat GSPS from Stratos will offer a powerful alternative to the handheld,
fixed and maritime phone solutions currently available in the marketplace. The
new services will offer high-quality voice and 2.4 kbps circuit-switched fax
and data connectivity via small, affordable equipment. Inmarsat GSPS from
Stratos will be available via attractive postpaid and prepaid offerings to
suit the needs of a wide range of users.
In 2010, Inmarsat GSPS from Stratos will be available in all global regions,
where Stratos is already a leading communications provider to both land-mobile
and maritime customers. Service in all global regions is made possible by
Inmarsat's latest-generation I-4 satellite.

Customers using Inmarsat GSPS from Stratos will benefit from The Stratos

usage of Inmarsat GSPS by providing real-time information on voice and data
traffic used, with associated costs.
Stratos Dashboard will further enhance the user experience of these new phone
services by providing fast provisioning, as well as rebilling and reporting
options to minimize unexpected invoices and potential financial risk. Stratos
Dashboard will support both postpaid and prepaid rate-plan options.
Stratos Dashboard is used by all Stratos partners and many customers who
deploy BGAN from Stratos, FleetBroadband from Stratos, SwiftBroadband from
Stratos, the current generation of Inmarsat Satellite Phone Services (SPS)
from Stratos and Iridium mobile satellite offerings worldwide. Stratos
Dashboard is also expected to be widely used worldwide by customers who will
be deploying Inmarsat GSPS from Stratos.
