General Catalyst Promotes Neil Sequeira to Partner

Sequeira to continue firm`s investments in key new media/online content,
consumer services and network infrastructure markets
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
General Catalyst Partners today announced that the firm has promoted Neil
Sequeira to Partner. Sequeira has been active in General Catalysts` key
investments in Internet and new media; software; consumer services; and network
infrastructure companies. 

Recruited by General Catalyst to identify emerging new media technology
opportunities, Sequeira is now a board member of DECA, Elemental Technologies,
Eons, Highwinds Network Group, Visible Measures, ViTrue, and ScanScout.

Sequeira joined General Catalyst Partners from Time Warner where he was most
recently Managing Director, Technology for Time Warner Investments formerly AOL
Time Warner Ventures. Companies within the Time Warner Investments portfolio
where Neil was a board director or observer include Arroyo Video Solutions
(CSCO), BigBand Networks (BBND), Entropic Communications (ENTR), Goldpocket
Interactive (ERIC), N2Broadband (ERIC) and Waterfront Media. 

Prior to joining Time Warner, he led Mergers and Acquisitions for CMGI.
Previously, Sequeira was an Associate with Goldman, Sachs & Co., and a
consultant with Accenture. 

Neil holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara,
and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
