Largest Independent Telecom Expense Management Conference Coming to San
Francisco June 2-3, 2008
3rd Annual National Summit on TEM Drew Record Crowd

SAN FRANCISCO, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Communication technology
professionals eager to control their communications costs with the help of
telecom expense management solutions will get real-world guidance from
enterprise peers and independent analysts at the 4th Annual National Summit on
Telecom Expense Management (www.TEMNationalSummit.com), to be held at Hotel
Nikko in San Francisco on June 2-3, 2008.
This year's conference will draw on the tremendous success of last year's
event: A record 178 conference attendees, exhibitors and sponsors flocked to
the Summit in June 2007, making it the largest national independent TEM
gathering to date.
Gartner analysts are credited for introducing the term "telecom expense
management" in 2005 to describe services that are gaining in popularity among
businesses looking to reduce their communication costs. More than 100
companies now claim to offer TEM services.
"The huge number of enterprises shopping TEM and vendors selling TEM at
this conference are further evidence of just how sizzling this market is right
now," says Jessica Gdowski, Voice Report editor and conference co-chairwoman.
"We're proud to have created what TEM purchasers and vendors now consider to
be the industry event."
Communications technology professionals who attend the 4th Annual National
Summit on TEM will hear lessons learned from their peers managing TEM at
Bloomberg, Norfolk Southern Railroad and United Parcel Service.
The most popular session at last year's event was the "TEM Power Panel,"
where a standing-room-only crowd watched execs from leading TEM vendors face
off. Head honchos from Asentinel, Control Point, Invoice Insight, Rivermine
and Symphony SMS make up this year's panel.
The conference also will feature an exhibitor showcase and several
networking events supported by 16 providers of TEM services.
"Great content," said Diana Campagna, Continental Airlines' manager of
mobile communications, following last year's National Summit on TEM.
"Excellent experience in networking with end users as well as vendors."
