REDWOOD CITY, CA, Nov 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
Nimsoft, the first provider of Unified Monitoring(TM) solutions, today
announced the launch of the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring Alliance as well
as its charter members. The alliance is composed of leading managed and
hosted service providers, cloud and SaaS providers, and ISV development
partners that support the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring initiative announced
last month. Nimsoft Unified Monitoring is redefining the IT monitoring
solutions market by providing today's enterprise with a total, unified
view of both internal and external IT resources. Alliance members
contribute to the Unified Monitoring technology ecosystem -- now
estimated to be over $500 million globally -- by enhancing the Nimsoft
solution through product and service enhancements and extensions.
Nimsoft Unified Monitoring Alliance partners fall into three categories:
service providers, solution partners, and technology development partners:
-- Service Provider Partners -- Members of this group deliver managed,
hosted, cloud-based, and other related services that are monitored using
the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS). Charter members include Alvaka,
Atrion, BSG, CDW HMS, Data Electronics, ENKI, FusionStorm, Ingram Micro
Inc, Seismic Division, IT Authorities, Longview, MicroMenders, PHNS,
NetEnrich, Rackspace Hosting, and Thomas Duryea.
-- Solution Partners -- These ISVs and SaaS providers extend the Nimsoft
solution by providing complementary IT service management solutions and
capabilities such as net-flow traffic capture, service desk, and IT
infrastructure library configuration management databases. Charter
members include Acentix, Attention Soft, AutoTask, BigFix, ConnectWise,
geoXMF, Plixer, Sanfir, Service-Now, Sensatronics, Shavlik, Stratavia,
VaultLogix, and Wendia.
-- Technology Development Partners -- These partners are building data
collection probes to extend the myriad of types of objects NMS monitors,
from non-standard databases to ERP applications to geo-location-based
devices, and more. Utilizing the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring solutions and
APIs, these partners create probes that are then resold to Nimsoft
customers. Charter members include InTeliNet and Agentil.
Unified Monitoring Alliance partners gain access to a growing and vibrant
Nimsoft customer ecosystem -- Nimsoft Unified Monitoring solutions are
currently used directly or through partners in over 10,000 end-user
environments. Alliance partners gain access to co-marketing materials and
services, including a listing in the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring solutions
directory hosted on the Nimsoft website at
www.nimsoft.com/partners/directory.php.
"We are excited to announce the launch of the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring
Alliance as a part of our vision to define a new class of IT monitoring
solutions. Tomorrow's business applications will reside on infrastructure
from the internal datacenter to the cloud. Managing this requires
cooperation among partners to deliver enterprises complete solutions
across their internal and external assets," said Nimsoft President and
CEO Gary Read. "The alliance not only expands opportunities for growth
and collaborative innovation for our partners, but also effectively
increases the breadth and depth of the systems monitoring and management
solutions that Nimsoft offers to its customers. We expect the ability to
co-market complementary third-party solutions and promote service
providers that are powered by Nimsoft will accelerate the growth of our
global ecosystem to multi-billions of dollars over the next two to three
years."
"InTeliNet is pleased to join the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring Alliance,"
stated Lars Soraas, Chief Technology Officer, InTeliNet. "We look forward
to working with Nimsoft to create tightly integrated and complementary
solutions to address customers' communications and network management
needs."
"Many enterprises need the ability to seamlessly monitor their cloud
servers alongside their dedicated servers," said Emil Sayegh, General
Manager, Rackspace Cloud. "The Nimsoft Monitoring Solution, now listed on
Rackspace Cloud Tools, enables this and allows customers to understand
the performance and availability of business applications that live in
datacenters, the Rackspace Cloud and hybrids of the two."
