Feed The Children to Deliver Truckload of Food and Personal Care Items to Victims of Wildfires

OKLAHOMA CITY--(Business Wire)--
Feed The Children has one semi tractor-trailer of disaster relief items loaded
and ready to deliver to wildfire victims that hit several areas in Oklahoma.
This truck delivery will occur Saturday, April 11 at Bethel Christian Center
located at 3254 North Choctaw Road. The truck will arrive at 9 a.m. and the
distribution will begin around 9:30 a.m. 

This truck distribution is sponsored by STAR Touring & Riding Association, the
only officially recognized Star Motorcycle owners group and long-time supporter
of Feed The Children. Star Chapter 162, Oklahoma City, is the truck sponsor and
three other Oklahoma Chapters will also assist in the distribution. 

Feed The Children, working with local partner agency Bethel Christian Center,
will provide a box of food and personal care items to recipients. The boxes are
designed to help supplement a family for up to one week. 

Feed The Children is also accepting donations of food, cleaning supplies and
other items in response to victims of the wildfires that occurred yesterday. All
donated items may be dropped off at Feed The Children headquarters, 333 N.
Meridian in Oklahoma City, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Cash donations for the relief effort can be sent to Feed The Children, P.O. Box
36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101 or made online at www.feedthechildren.org. A
toll-free number for donations has also been set up at 800-328-2122. Spanish
speaking donors can call 866-988-2122. 

The following is a list of needed supplies:

* Bottled water 
* Ready to eat foods (canned meat, peanut butter, crackers, cereal) 
* Baby items (baby food, diapers, moistened towelettes) 
* Cleaning supplies (Clorox, gloves, paper towels)

As the need rises, Feed The Children stands poised and ready to continue
bringing food and relief supplies to those in need. 

"Many Oklahomans are experiencing difficult times due to yesterday`s wildfires,"

thankful for Star Touring and Riding Association for their amazing support,
ensuring these victims will receive supplies. We send our prayers as well as our
