Tue Feb 19, 2008 7:00am EST
SEATTLE--(Business Wire)--
Alexander Hutton Inc. has announced the appointment of Ed Zittel
as Senior Advisor in the firm's investment banking Operations. "The
expansion represented by Ed's addition is indicative of the robust
climate for private company divestitures and recapitalizations. The
distinctive background Ed brings as a former business owner and CPA
will prove invaluable to our middle-market clients," said Dave
Fitterer, Managing Director at Alexander Hutton.

Edward A. Zittel has extensive experience as a consultant with
privately held businesses. During the major portion of his career he
was a managing partner and practicing CPA for Knight, Vale & Gregory,
a large regional CPA firm. In that capacity he practiced as a tax
partner and general business consultant. He was heavily involved in
the management of the firm and managed an office of 100 people. As a
part of his practice he assisted client companies with succession
planning and worked with investment bankers on a number of
transactions. In addition, Mr. Zittel was a key member of the
management group that strategically grew the CPA firm both organically
and through acquisition. The firm was subsequently sold to RSM
McCladrey, a national accounting firm.

Mr. Zittel retired from the CPA business in 2005 and has recently
joined Alexander Hutton. He is a native of Tacoma, his business career
having centered around the Tacoma-Southwest Washington area. He has
participated in a large variety of community organizations including
being a past President of the Tacoma Club. He currently serves on the
Board of the Tacoma Country & Golf Club, and is a founder and Board
Member of Commencement Bank in Tacoma.
