Coinstar to Webcast Second Quarter 2008 Conference Call on July 31, 2008

Coinstar, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSTR) will host a conference call on
Thursday, July 31, in conjunction with its second quarter earnings
release.

    When:     Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern/2:00 p.m.

   Earnings will be released after the close of the market on
Thursday, July 31. The conference call will be simulcast on the
company's Web site, and accessible following the live event. On the
conference call, Coinstar's management will discuss its performance
and comment on recent developments.

   Minimum requirements to listen to the broadcast are: Windows Media
Player software; Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape
4.0 or higher; a computer with a sound card and speakers; and no
firewall.
