ooma Expands Management Team to Drive Record Holiday Retail Sales, Brand Presence

Sling Media Veterans Join Marketing and Sales Groups at ooma
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
ooma, Inc., a privately held company committed to establishing new
standards for home phone service, today announced the appointment of
three consumer electronics veterans to lead the company's sales and
marketing efforts. Rich Buchanan, Chief Marketing Officer, Tami
Bhaumik, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, and Aaron Duran, Vice
President of Retail Sales join ooma from previous leadership roles at
leading digital lifestyle company, Sling Media.

   Buchanan, Bhaumik and Duran bring decades of consumer, high
technology and OEM executive level marketing and sales experience to
the management team at ooma. The three executives will be responsible
for building ooma into an established brand that supports a growing
retail sales channel.

ooma as the premier telephone service provider and align us with the

   Buchanan brings more than 25 years of marketing and sales
experience to the management team at ooma. Most recently, Buchanan was
VP of marketing at Sling Media. Previously, Buchanan led retail
consumer electronics and OEM efforts at SuperMac Technologies, Radius,
Creative Labs, Rendition, and Raycer Graphics. While at Creative Labs,
Buchanan introduced the sound card and CD-ROM player to the consumer
electronics world, taking Creative Labs to $1.5B in annual sales.

   With more than 20 years of consumer and high tech marketing
experience, including senior roles at Sling Media, Saatchi & Saatchi,
J. Walter Thompson and Goldberg, Moser, O'Neil and several startups,
Bhaumik is an expert at establishing and executing marketing
strategies on both the client and agency side. Both Bhaumik and
Buchanan have received numerous marketing honors including Addy and
Webby awards.

   Duran brings to ooma over 18 years of sales and channel
development experience both in the U.S. and Europe. He has held a
variety of senior sales and marketing positions at Apple, Claris,
Hewlett-Packard and Sling Media. Duran has a history of designing
channel programs and strategies to successfully launch high-tech
products and services to consumers, businesses and multi-national
corporations through direct and indirect channels.
