Rapid Demand for Unified Computing Infrastructure Leads to Expansion in the U.S.
STAMFORD, Conn.--(Business Wire)--
Liquid Computing, the leader in unified computing infrastructure for today`s
dynamic data center, announced the opening of a corporate office in Stamford, CT
to support the company`s accelerated growth and expansion. The new facility will
serve as the focal point for the acquisition of new customers and strategic
partners, which already include Microsoft, Intel, VMware, Oracle and NetApp. The
company`s technology development facility, housing operations and engineering
will remain based at its Ottawa, Ontario facility.

Liquid Computing also recently announced that it was positioned as a Visionary
in the 2009 Magic Quadrant for Blade Servers, which according to Gartner is a
market that is outgrowing that of all other server form factors.

"Attracting innovative, successful technology companies like Liquid Computing is
key to furthering Connecticut`s leadership position in the New Economy," said
Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Joan McDonald.
"We`re proud to welcome Liquid Computing to Stamford, and thrilled they have
joined the growing list of global technology leaders that call Connecticut
home."

"Stamford is home to many of our fastest growing markets, including financial
services and information technology, and provides an ideal location for a
high-growth technology company to operate," said Vikram Desai, CEO of Liquid
Computing. "As a leading innovator in the enterprise data center market, we`re
pleased to have a base in Stamford during this period of technology growth and
revitalization."

Liquid Computing`s LiquidIQ unified computing system helps reduce operating
costs by up to 80% in data centers, the massive facilities housing computers and
networks used to run Internet applications that businesses, government and
consumers use every day. Liquid Computing`s solutions address a clear need as
many CIOs are under pressure to simplify and consolidate their data center
operations. Industry analysts have estimated the market for unified computing
could reach up to $20 billion within the next several years.

Liquid Computing`s new Stamford offices are part of Harbor Point, one of the
country`s largest redevelopment projects. Reconnecting Stamford to its
waterfront, Harbor Point will provide six million square feet of residential,
hotel and office space.
