Customer experience will be communicated directly to Customers in the coming

To celebrate the launch of TD Commerce Bank as America's Most Convenient
Bank, starting April 10, 2008, Customers of both Commerce and TD Banknorth can
access their cash without incurring fees at any of the companies' combined
2,700 ATMs from Maine to Florida and more than 2,500 ATMs at TD Canada Trust
locations throughout Canada.
Creating the New Brand
Extensive Customer and market research guided the banks' decision to
leverage the financial strength of TD Bank Financial Group and Commerce's
legendary focus on Customer service to create TD Commerce Bank

Introducing the New Brand
TD Banknorth and Commerce will adopt the TD Commerce Bank brand name and
"America's Most Convenient Bank" tagline as part of its logo and brand
positioning across all markets. The bank plans a multi-phase brand rollout to
thrill Customers and engage Employees while continuing to deliver legendary
Customer service.
Consumers will be introduced to TD Commerce Bank via a multi-million
dollar marketing campaign that will include television, print, online and in-
store marketing. The campaign will launch later this year and will span the
bank's New England, Mid-Atlantic and Florida footprints.
In the next few months the company's 1,100 combined store network will
begin a comprehensive exterior and interior re-branding effort to TD Commerce
Bank. Current Commerce Bank stores will be the first to re-brand starting in
2008 with current TD Banknorth stores expected to be fully re-branded sometime
in 2009.
