Sustainable Life Media Announces Sustainable Brands International

Wed Jun 18, 2008 9:01am EDT
December 9-11, 2008, Miami Beach, FL

BURLINGAME, Calif., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- In direct response to the
strong success of the Sustainable Brands conference, and participant interest
in convening a targeted conversation about global sustainable brand issues and
opportunities, Sustainable Life Media today announced Sustainable Brands
International, (SBi) a spin-off of its marquee Sustainable Brands Conference.
The inaugural international conference will be held in Miami Beach, FL at the
Fontainebleau Miami Beach from December 9-11, 2008. Like the Sustainable
Brands Conference, participants will include senior business and product
strategy, brand and sustainability executives from around the world.
SBi will help participants identify and capitalize on opportunities for
sustainability-driven revenue growth and brand value in various markets around
the world. This unique event will cover both the internal and external issues
of building a successful global sustainable brand as it compares and contrasts
unique market opportunities and idiosyncrasies across various continents,
unfolding changes in international regulatory environments, and complexities
in supply chain and product distribution across continents. The conference
will provide a unique forum for exchanging information with peers interested
in international sustainable brand opportunities, and in addition, will serve
as a showcase of innovative sustainable brands from local market leaders
worldwide.
"Representatives from 10 countries participated in Sustainable Brands '08.
These, and others who have reached out to us in recent months from around the
world, as well as many of the top global US based businesses who are working
on global brand issues, have asked us to convene such a gathering," said KoAnn
Vikoren Skrzyniarz, President and CEO of Sustainable Life Media, curator of
the Sustainable Brands Conference and other sustainable business events. "We
are excited about partnering with several new international entities as well
as many of our existing partners to facilitate this important conversation."
Miami Beach was chosen as a venue because of its international appeal,
ease of access and manageable cost for U.S. and international travelers, as
well as for its beautiful beachfront location and great December weather.
Furthermore, the newly completed Fountainbleau Hotel showcases many
sustainable innovations which conference guests will be able to experience
first hand.
Submissions Sought From Around the World
An exciting array of key speakers and event partners are already being
confirmed and will be announced shortly, and presentation submissions are now
being sought from sustainability innovators from around the world. Companies
who feel they have a unique story or best practice to share with a sustainable
brand audience should submit their proposals by July 31st to Sustainable Life
Media at sbiproposals@sustainablelifemedia.com, or by fax to Hunter Sasser @
650 240 1370.
