ActionView International, Inc. Announces MatchFights Subsidiary's Marketing
Agreement With Zoombo Media Group
MURRIETA, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ActionView International,
Inc. (Pink Sheets: AVEW) and its wholly owned MatchFights, LLC subsidiary
today announced an agreement with Zoombo Media Group, LLC, which will develop
a self-sustained platform for MatchFights to deliver action-packed live and
on-demand media, social networking and e-commerce to promote the brand and
brand-related affiliates.
The platform will contain numerous social marketing technologies that are
designed to harness the power of the internet to create exposure for the
MatchFights brand around the globe. Site members will utilize powerful social
media marketing tools to "share" MatchFights media content, both branded
content and user-generated content, to their friends and family, via email and
across social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube.
Zoombo Media Group is a Web 2.0 development company offering content owners
and media companies world-wide innovative user engagement strategies promoting
increased on-line user visits, user retention and brand interaction.
"Social media and viral marketing are critical elements of our comprehensive
program to increase awareness of MatchFights' World Championship Full Contact
product and to increase the pay-per-view buys for each WCFC event," stated
ActionView International Director and 3-time world boxing champion Tony "The
Tiger" Lopez. "Our target consumers receive much of their information through
this type of marketing, and we believe that Zoombo Media Group will reach
these groups much more effectively than other advertising and promotions
channels.
"MatchFights will also utilize other more traditional marketing and promotion
channels, especially as brand recognition grows and we begin to compete with
conventional boxing and MMA organizations in a mass market environment. We
believe that Zoombo Media Group will help to take us to that next step of
awareness, and we look forward to seeing the impact of their work."
World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) events are broadcast live in high
definition to a worldwide audience over the Internet and revenue is derived
from pay-per-view buys. WCFC departs from traditional MMA in several ways.
The rules effectively eliminate the tap-out as a means to end a fight. This
keeps WCFC bouts from devolving into protracted grappling matches and promotes
fast and furious action. WCFC also provides interactive features as part of
its Internet broadcast, which allows fans to vote online for the matchups they
want to see and then vote for the winners of fights that go the distance. An
interactive online chat feature allows fans to discuss the action during the
live event and users can also set up their own chat groups. More information
on World Championship Full Contact can be found at its website, www.wcfc.com.
