Title Company Creates a Magnificent Closing Experience With Innovative
Technologies and Services
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(Business Wire)--
Stewart Title of Albuquerque, part of the Stewart family of companies, announced
today the first eNotary-outfitted title operation in New Mexico. Tons of paper
and lengthy transaction closing times have long been synonymous with the real
estate transactions. Fortunately, that`s a thing of the past, particularly in
New Mexico, where all Stewart Title of Albuquerque offices are now capable of
electronically notarizing documents and expediting the transaction process.

"The electronic notary seal is the next step in paperless transactions and
electronic closings," said Glenn F. Schwerin, president of Stewart Title of
Albuquerque. "The electronic notary seal is used instead of the regular notary
seal, allowing us to not have to print all of the documents that need to be
notarized. By utilizing electronic notaries, in conjunction with our online
transaction systems, we can provide a completely paperless transaction from
order entry through signing and recording."

For the past five years, Stewart Title of Albuquerque customers have been able
to view and monitor all aspects of the closing process online, thanks to Stewart
technology such as SureClose® online transaction management system and
eClosingRoom, that enables electronic signing of closing documents. And now, the
new Stewart Online portal provides customers complimentary, secure access to
their transactions 24/7 anywhere they have Internet access, as well as offering
home buyers and sellers Stewart Concierge to help simplify their move with a
personalized call center to facilitate utility connections, moving services,
home appliance purchases and more. These innovative technologies and services
enable Stewart Title customers to stay informed regarding every detail of their
real estate transaction and to make their real estate purchase experience
magnificent.

"By allowing customers to actively participate online in the closing process,
they arrive at the closing table more educated, protected and confident. In
addition, working online reduces paper waste and encourages a more eco-friendly
transaction," Schwerin continues.

"Furthermore, once everything has been signed and it`s time to notarize
documents, all of our offices in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho can apply the
electronic notary seal, which eliminates the need to print out hard copies of
documents. And, since all Stewart Title of Albuquerque offices currently have a
certified eNotary, transactions run faster and more efficiently than ever," said
Schwerin.

Stewart Title of Albuquerque has four offices in New Mexico, with the main
office located at 6759 Academy Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. For more
