American Pacific Postpones Fiscal 2009 Second Quarter Earnings Release and
Investor Teleconference

LAS VEGAS, May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Pacific Corporation
(Nasdaq: APFC) announced today that it is postponing the conference call
previously scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., Pacific Daylight
Time, and anticipates rescheduling its second quarter results release and
conference call in the near future at the time of filing its Quarterly Report
on Form 10-Q.
