WHAT: QuadraMed will demo its Pharmacy IMM (Integrated Medical
Management) at the American Society of Health System
            Pharmacists (ASHP) 2008 conference.

QuadraMed's Pharmacy IMM solution offers real-time,
wireless point-of-care medication scanning that allows
clinicians to verify a patient's identity and validate
medications against active orders. The module provides
            order entry, validation, medication dispensing,
            administration/patient medication delivery and
            documentation functionality.

QuadraMed's Pharmacy IMM provides nurses and pharmacy staff
with access to patient status and clinical information,
thereby reducing medication errors, enhancing clinical
            workflow and improving patient safety.

Beth Ash, QuadraMed product consultant, will deliver
Pharmacy IMM demos Dec. 3-5 at the QuadraMed Booth #2131
            during exhibit hours.

WHY:
-- Medication errors account for at least 7,000 deaths in
            the United States each year.
-- Medication errors occur in nearly 1 of every 5 doses
given to patients in the typical hospital.
-- Administration mistakes account for 38% of medication
            errors.
-- Safety at the point of care is one of the greatest areas
for potential improvement in the medication use process.
