PNL Offers Advanced Logistics Services to Global Shippers With New Wireless
CARGO Monitoring From Savi Networks
SaviTrak(TM) Enables Real-Time Management of the Location, Security and

SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- PNL Networks Co., Ltd. (PNL),
the technology arm of global logistics service provider PNL Group, today
announced it has contracted with Savi Networks to enable PNL to offer its
customers advanced logistics services, based on wireless monitoring
technology.
The contract calls on Savi Networks to provide the SaviTrak(TM) information
service to monitor, in real-time, container shipments filled with products
such as liquid crystal display (LCD) television screens that are transported
across more than two dozen tradelanes spanning the globe.

    SaviTrak empowers users to more effectively manage the physical execution
of their supply chains by providing actionable information in real-time.
SaviTrak processes real-time data feeds from wireless monitoring technologies,
on the location, security status, and environmental status of shipments.

    The contract enables PNL to utilize the most appropriate wireless data
capture device from the family of technologies offered by Savi Networks.
SaviTrak transforms the data into actionable information that enables PNL to
optimize the transport of shipments according to the needs of individual
customers through specific tradelanes.
    PNL Networks Co. Ltd. provides comprehensive commercial cargo visibility
and security tracking services for the Korea international trade market. With
six years of proven experience in managing integrated global logistics
services in Korea, PNL Networks is expanding to provide real-time information
and analytics services to improve cargo visibility and security management.
Through a partnership with Savi Networks, PNL Networks is leveraging an
existing global Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) network that is
complemented with Global Positioning (GPS) systems and other wireless
technologies to offer pay-per-use, real-time information visibility, security
and cargo integrity information for the Korean market. Through analytics
provided by the SaviTrak(TM) platform, cargo owners will improve in-transit
inventory management, and greater capabilities to respond quickly to supply
chain disruptions.
    Savi Networks LLC provides SaviTrak(TM), an information service that is
used to manage in-transit inventory in real-time.  SaviTrak provides automated
information and analytics, derived from wirelessly captured data on the
physical location, security status, and environmental condition of inventory.
The data is captured in real-time as inventory moves through a global wireless
network operated by Savi Networks.  Savi Networks is a joint venture between
