Raser Vice President Speaks at Washington D.C. Military Energy & Alternative Fuels Conference

PROVO, Utah--(Business Wire)--
Raser Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:RZ), an energy technology company, today
announced that Raser Vice President, David West was a featured speaker at the
Military Energy & Alternative Fuels Conference in Washington D.C. October 20-21
put on by the Technology Training Corporation. Raser was invited to speak on the
potential military applications of its E-REV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle)
powertrain, recently demonstrated in Raser`s electric Hummer H3E vehicle. 

The electric Hummer H3E is the result of a two-year development program in
cooperation with General Motors. The vehicle is powered by Raser`s proprietary
E-REV powertrain. The powertrain was designed to drive America`s trucks, SUVs
and other larger vehicles with over 100 mpg in gas fuel economy. The powertrain
features Raser`s Symetron technology including a custom designed 200kW peak AC
induction traction motor, 100kW continuous PM synchronous generator and unique
dual hybrid drive/ controller. At the conference, Mr. West spoke of the
potential application of Raser`s technology to the military, in particular the
potential of the on-board generator to replace a traditional "tow-behind" mobile
generator with more power.

Analyst at the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Mr. Paul
Schoen, Executive Director, The Boeing Company, Mr. Steven White, Energy Program
Manager, Department of Homeland Security, and many others. The conference was
attended by leading military and private sector specialists on military
vehicles, alternative fuels and operations.
