VERTual Media Begins Using ClickFacts Ad Network Management Tools

Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:30am EDT
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Aug 21 (MARKET WIRE) --
VERTual Media and ClickFacts have announced a partnership for VERTual
Media to utilize ClickFacts automated Risk Discovery(TM) solution to
protect VERTual Media's advertisers. With automated monitoring of network
publishers for inappropriate content and presence of malware, ClickFacts'
solution ensures high quality content for VERTual Media's advertisers and
the safeguarding of their publishers from malicious attacks.

ClickFacts Ad Network Management Tools allow advertising networks to
dramatically reduce the potential of delivering malicious code or
inappropriate content to consumers of web advertising by automatically
scanning the advertising creatives and publisher pages for content and
malware before delivering the advertisements.

"VERTual Media is raising the bar for ad networks," said Michael Caruso,
the CEO of ClickFacts. "They are now able to provide complete transparency
into the network for its advertisers, alleviating any concerns about ad
placements, and are now able to sign more clients and generate more
revenue for the same inventory."

"Using the ClickFacts Ad Network Management Tools has allowed us to
concentrate on our core business of serving our customers," said Chris
Butler, the CEO of VERTual Media. "Our staff is now devoted to helping
advertisers reach their goals instead of having to manual-check the pages
for offensive content and creatives for malware."

The new benefits that VERTual Media is now providing to its
customers
include:

-- Assurance of consumer privacy and security protection in their
    marketplace
-- Ability to garner higher CPMs (only serving ads into content that
    advertisers approve)
-- Self-serve tools for smaller advertisers & publishers (via automated
    content and malware scanning)
-- Cost savings due to the elimination of manual compliance review
-- Prevention of costly litigation

The terms and conditions of the partnership were not disclosed.
