Duff & Phelps Adds a Managing Director to Its Transfer Pricing Practice

NEW YORK, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Duff & Phelps Corporation
(NYSE: DUF), a leading provider of independent financial advisory and
investment banking services, today announced that Karl Rothfuss has joined the
firm as a Transfer Pricing Managing Director in the firm's Cincinnati office.
Dr. Rothfuss brings 12 years of experience in transfer pricing and economic
consulting to Duff & Phelps' global transfer pricing team.
Dr. Rothfuss joins the firm from Ernst & Young LLP, where he was a
transfer pricing market leader for Ohio, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania and
Upstate New York.  His experience includes all aspects of transfer pricing
documentation, planning and controversy and spans most industries and firm
sizes, from small technology start-ups to major multinational corporations.
Dr. Rothfuss' expertise focuses on applying sound economic principles and
financial modeling skills to help resolve the tax and transfer pricing
problems that impact companies with cross-border intercompany transactions.
Dr. Rothfuss holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from New York University,
an M.S. in geography from Montana State University and a B.A. in economics
from Miami University (Ohio).
