Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:00am EDT
PROVIDENCE, R.I., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- BLI Messaging, a
business-to-business provider of broadcast email, voice, fax and SMS text
messaging solutions, has won the Future Innovators Award at this week's DMA
show in San Diego, CA. This is the inaugural year for this award which
recognizes innovative solutions that have influenced and improved the
marketing industry. The judging panel selected BLI Messaging based upon the
level of innovation coupled with the impact of the innovation on both the end
user and the marketing community as a whole.

The innovation for which BLI Messaging were recognized is the multi-channel
'trigger' functionality built into the latest release of the company's
WebLaunch platform. WebLaunch is an online portal from which customers can
launch email, voice, fax, survey and SMS campaigns. The introduction of
triggers into this platform enables customers of BLI Messaging to automate
follow-up messages, across various channels, based upon the actions (or
inactions) of the recipient. For example, the action of clicking a link in an
email could trigger an SMS text message or automated voice call.

"We are thrilled to win this prestigious new award from the Direct Marketing
Association. It is terrific to be recognized for our commitment to pushing the
envelope in building marketing automation and messaging solutions. Now we are
taking it to the next level and developing a closed loop program that unites
web analytics with email marketing for intelligent response based marketing
and true ROI calculations," said Dave Baeder, President of BLI Messaging.

BLI Messaging has served over 4,000 customers including the New York Times,
CIA, United Nations, GE Money, New York Stock Exchange and Cadbury. The
company began 20 years ago as a broadcast fax company and evolved to add
email, voice and SMS to its platform in addition to ancillary services such as
landing page creation, CRM system development, ad hoc programming and web
design. The company is funded by Catalyst Investors, a New York based private
equity firm focused upon business services, communications, media and
software-as-a-service. For more information, please visit
