VeriFone Announces Preferred US Reseller Program

Expanded Product Offerings, Enhanced Services and Speedier Product
 Delivery Equip Resellers for Greater Customization, More Competitive
                             Merchant Bids
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
VeriFone Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:PAY) today announced a new U.S.
preferred reseller program aimed at enhancing the ability of key
distributors to speedily deliver more competitive and customized
product solutions to merchants.

   Resellers will be able to participate in select, enhanced programs
with VeriFone, including expanded product offerings, enhanced services
and faster product delivery. Companies who have signed up for the new
program include The Phoenix Group, POS Portal, and Alliance Data.

   "We're providing an opportunity for preferred resellers to more
closely partner with VeriFone," said Jeff Dumbrell, VeriFone senior
vice president, North America - Financial Systems. "Taking advantage
of enhanced services and programs will enable them to provide more
competitive and customized solutions and also to provide their
customers with access to marketing programs, incentives and other
specialized offerings."

   Among the enhanced services preferred resellers can take advantage
of are full array deployment, key injection, access to multiple,
geographically dispersed distribution points, and support in
developing customized reporting and product offerings.
