Russell Brand, the star of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and the remake of "Arthur," will star in Paramount and Platinum Dunes' "Hauntrepreneur," TheWrap has confirmed.
The English comic will play an odd man who calls himself the "Hauntrepreneur," whom a family that is new in town hires to help them fit in. The Hauntrepreneur puts together a haunted house to bring them together.
Scott Rosenberg wrote the script.

No director or other castmembers have been attached.
Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing.
Brand is among the many stars in New Line's musical "Rock of Ages." The Adam Shankman-directed movie opens June 1.
