nationwide raced to enter the Shell V-Power(®) "Fuel My Passion" Contest and
Sweepstakes, and now that the finalists have been selected, it is America's
chance to join the fun and help decide who will drive away with a year's worth
of Shell V-Power(®) premium gasoline. Additionally, from now until November 3,
2009, four lucky voters will be chosen at random each day to receive a $50
Shell Gift Card after voting online for their favorite contest finalists.

For the Shell V-Power(®) "Fuel My Passion" Contest and Sweepstakes,
enthusiasts were asked to submit a creative photo and a description detailing
"How Shell V-Power(®) fuels their passion for their ride" in one of five
categories.  Following the entry period, a panel of judges narrowed the
submissions down to an exclusive group of fifteen potential winners.  The
finalists hail from cities all across the country, including:

Shell invites Americans nationwide to vote online starting October 20 at
www.shell.us/fuelmypassion.  For each contest category, the top three
entrants' photo and story submissions will be on display, giving consumers the
opportunity to vote for their neighbors, their friends, their fellow
enthusiasts or whomever they think deserves the grand prize for each category.
 All runners up will receive a $250 Shell Gift Card. Consumers can vote online
once per category, per day.


All contest winners, as well as one lucky sweepstakes winner of the all-new
