Human Resource Leaders Gather for Cornell's HR Executive Roundtable

Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:30am EST
HORSHAM, PA, Nov 16 (MARKET WIRE) --
Human Resource Executive(R) Conferences announced plans for the highly
anticipated Cornell University HR Executive Roundtable, taking place at
the National HR in Hospitality(TM) Conference, Feb. 22 - 24, 2010, at
Wynn Las Vegas. Developed and sponsored by the Cornell Center for
Hospitality Research, the prestigious Roundtable will be open to all
attendees in 2010, a major modification from the previous year's
invitation-only gathering.

"The HR Roundtable is a highlight of the conference, in which top-level
professionals have a free-wheeling discussion on the most important HR
topics. The amount of value attendees will get out of seeing how these
experts attack problems is worth more than the conference registration
fee," said David Sherwyn, Associate Professor of Law at Cornell's School
of Hotel Administration. "The substance of the discussion is better than
any HR textbook."

The two-part segment begins with a Plenary Session, "A Conversation Among
Leaders: The Cornell University HR Executive Roundtable," in which
conference attendees will hear hospitality's most influential HR thought
leaders and senior executives tackle two of the hottest topics not covered
in other plenary sessions.

The second part of the segment, "The Conversation Continues: A Dialogue
Between Attendees and Cornell Roundtable Participants," will engage
attendees in lively discussion sessions. This unique format gives
attendees the opportunity to ask follow-up questions on issues emanating
from the Roundtable, add their thoughts, and interact with the brightest
minds in the industry. The discussions are followed by a networking
reception.

HR in Hospitality(TM) is produced by Human Resource Executive(R)
Conferences, Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and Cornell
University ILR School, and endorsed by the American Hotel & Lodging
Association. The conference will also feature segments on Employment Law,
Labor Relations, HR Strategies, and HR Operations.

The HR in Hospitality(TM) Expo, open Feb. 22 - 23, will further assist
attendees through access to vendors of products and services related to
benefits, HRIS, legal, payroll, screening and assessment, training and
recruiting.

Registration is open at www.HRinHospitality.com, with a $350.00 discount
until Jan. 8, 2010. Team registrations allow organizations to cover more
and save more. For complete details, visit www.HRinHospitality.com.
