Asset International Appoints Thomas Wright as Chief Financial Officer

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Asset International, Inc. ("AI"), a
global publisher and information provider to institutional investors and other
financial enterprises, announced that Thomas Wright has been appointed Chief
Financial Officer. He reports to Jim Casella, Chief Executive Officer.


"Tom joins Asset International during a period of significant transformation,"
Mr. Casella said. "His financial skills should prove to be highly valuable as
we to continue to grow rapidly via innovative new products, global expansion
and acquisitions." 


Since Asset International was purchased by Austin Ventures in early 2009, the
firm has acquired Strategic Insight, a provider of research, data and
analytics to asset managers worldwide, and The Trade, a London-based publisher
focused on the electronic securities trading industry. In June, Asset
International launched ai5000, an online publication focused on the globe's
top 5,000 pools of capital.


According to Casella, "Tom has a proven record of helping business-to-business
media achieve higher growth and profitability, and his entrepreneurial drive
is consistent with Asset International's forward-moving culture."


Mr. Wright possesses more than two decades of industry experience. Prior to
joining Asset International, he was Chief Financial Officer of Northstar
Travel Media LLC, where he set strategic direction for the company and was
responsible for all aspects of financial management, including capital markets
structuring, M&A and planning. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of
Tradescape Corporation and Vice President and Treasurer at Softbank Holdings,
a Ziff-Davis company.


Mr. Wright earned an M.B.A. from Boston University and a B.A. in Business
Administration from Franklin & Marshall College.


He and his family reside in Glen Ridge, NJ.
