University Health Industries Launches National Television Commercial Campaign

Mon Apr 28, 2008 9:00am EDT
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(Business Wire)--
University Health Industries, Inc., (Pink Sheets:VRTN) is pleased
to announce that it has launched a national television commercial
campaign.

University Health Industries has launched a national television
campaign for Arthroleve(TM), a product that helps to alleviate joint
pain and stiffness and promote overall joint health. The commercial
for the Zenstral PMS(TM) product, which offers relief from many of the
symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome, is scheduled to
follow. Both commercials were produced by UHI's production company,
Avalanche Creative, in New York.

The television commercials air nationwide in the U.S. on networks
and channels including: History International, TV1, PAX, Game Show and
Dish Men's Outdoor Networks, with combined audiences of over 100
million viewers. The spots feature both a 120 second and 60 second
cut. The Arthroleve(TM) spot features a ballroom dance sequence that
capitalizes on a current and very popular dance show.

The initial airings include a direct response component that is
designed to drive consumer traffic to a call center for a free trial
of the product, as well as to the product's website,
www.arthroleve.com. The initial network testing and response has been
a tremendous success which has allowed us to expand the campaign to
include more programming.

Vic Golio, Executive Vice President of Chief Media, was quoted as
saying, "We were extremely pleased to see that the results of the
media test confirmed the potential we saw at the outset for this
campaign. We are excited to be working with UHI's management team on
the nationwide rollout and confident of the ongoing success of this
program."

The target market for Arthroleve(TM) includes more than 43 million
U.S. adults who suffer from conditions including not only arthritis,
but also a number of other forms of chronic pain. Arthroleve(TM) is a
new, patent-pending nutraceutical formulation which contains
clinically proven ingredients for the maintenance of joint health and
for treatment of both fibromyalgia and non-specific lower back pain
(NSLB). In addition, it is delivered in a pharmaceutical grade caplet
which utilizes UHI's advanced Slick Cap Technology(TM) to optimize its
absorption by the intestinal tract. Each Arthroleve(TM) caplet is
packaged in foil blister packs to ensure quality. Arthroleve is now
available at: www.arthroleve.com.

   Zenstral PMS(TM) is a new, patent-pending, nutraceutical
formulation for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
Currently, the target market of approximately 13-20 million American
women who suffer from PMS is largely dominated by over the counter
drugs which are primarily intended to target the physical symptoms of
PMS. In contrast, Zenstral PMS(TM) was developed to naturally target
both the physical as well as the psychological symptoms associated
with PMS. Zenstral PMS(TM) is also delivered in a pharmaceutical
grade, foil blister-packed caplets employing UHI's Slick Cap
Technology(TM). Zenstral PMS(TM) is now available at:
www.zenstralpms.com.

Mr. Dean Peloso, CEO of University Health Industries, was quoted
as saying, "We are very pleased with the initial results of the
commercial direct response testing and will continue to roll out
additional programming in the coming months. The commercial spots are
designed to build brand equity and to drive consumer demand for our
revolutionary nutraceutical product line."
