Bruce Johnson of WUSA to Headline March 18 Event Marking Platinum Anniversary

SILVER SPRING, Md., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Thursday, March 18,
2010, Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) will celebrate its 20th year of
providing affordable housing in Montgomery County with MHP Is Going Platinum. 
The event will celebrate MHP's contributions to preserving and expanding
quality affordable housing in addition to its work within the community to
improve the quality of life for residents.  Co-chaired by Catherine Leggett,
Senior Vice President of ICMA Retirement Corporation and long-time advocate
for affordable housing, and Tom Bozzuto, Chief Executive Officer of the
Bozzuto Group and long-time supporter of neighborhood revitalization, the
event will be held at the Bolger Center in Potomac, MD.

"For the past 20 years, MHP has helped thousands of working people in
Montgomery County find housing," says Leggett.  "MHP doesn't just give people
a place to live; it helps people build a home.  I am thrilled to help MHP
celebrate this wonderful milestone."

MHP Is Going Platinum will bring together political representatives, business
leaders and community members to celebrate MHP's 20 years of service to the
area.  Master of Ceremonies will be Bruce Johnson of WUSA 9, a renowned
journalist who has been reporting on community issues for more than 30 years. 
The event will honor David Reznick, a national leader in the field of
affordable housing, for his many contributions and years of support to MHP.

Among attending business and political leaders are: Senator Ben Cardin,
Senator Barbara Mikulski, Congressman Chris Van Hollen, County Executive Ike
Leggett, Adventist Health Care President Bill Robertson, Trammel Crow
Residential Chairman Ron Terwilliger, and many more.
