Platts Global Energy Awards Bestows 'Company of the Year' and 'IndustryLeadership' Awards on NRG Energy of HoustonDuke Energy's Jim Rogers Gets Coveted 'CEO of the Year'
NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Houston-based NRG Energy, theinternational power generator, snared two top awards -- "Energy Company of theYear" and the "Industry Leadership Award" -- tonight at the 9th annual PlattsGlobal Energy Awards.
Platts' prestigious "CEO of the Year" award went to Duke Energy's JimRogers, known for his advocacy of energy efficiency.
