East West Bancorp Reschedules New Time for Second Quarter 2008 Earnings Conference Call/Webcast

PASADENA, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
In conjunction with East West Bancorp's (Nasdaq:EWBC) second
quarter 2008 earnings announcement, members of the public are invited
to listen to the Company's live quarterly earnings conference call on
the internet Friday, July 25, 2008. The time for the conference
call/webcast has been rescheduled from 8:30 A.M. PT/11:30 A.M. ET to
10:30 A.M. PT/1:30 P.M. ET. The conference call will feature
management in a discussion of second quarter results and operating
developments.

   Financial results will be released over the news wires after the
market closes on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Investors wishing to hear
