ACCE 2008 - Media Sneak Preview
NEW YORK, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Experience the future of customer
service at The Fifth Annual Call Center Exhibition (ACCE), which will take
place September 15-18, 2008 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Members of the media are invited to register for complimentary passes --

Call Centers are a significant segment of Arizona's business ecosystem --

Humor" by Joel Zeff, famed for delivering high-energy hilarious keynotes that
feel more like an improvisational comedy show. Zeff's keynote will focus on
reducing stress, increasing creativity and renewing one's passion for work and

-- Green Call Centers: (Booth #1214): Edwin Margulies, Senior Director of
CRM Service Products for Oracle, will discuss ways to make a call center green
while saving thousands or even millions a year -- with the added benefit of

-- Next Generation Call Centers: Salesforce.com and LiveOps (Booth #1208)
will sponsor an open-to-all session to be presented by Qualcomm and AAA Ohio,
who will explain and describe the benefits they achieved by creating next

-- Virtual Call Centers: SAP (Booth #1000) will host a session on
combining on-site agents, remote agents and mobile experts into one global
virtual Contact Center that can allow enterprises to turn challenges into a

will host a casual networking reception for all delegates, speakers,

-- Global Call Center of the Year Award: Winners of the International
Customer Management Institute's Global Call Center of the Year Award will be
announced at a luncheon. Finalists include Arizona-based business Salt River
Project. (September 16th, 12:30pm - 2:00pm.)
-- Cartoon Caption Contest: Contact center professionals submitted
captions for a contact center-themed cartoon, and three finalists were
determined by a panel of industry expert judges. The winner, chosen by popular
vote, will be announced on-site at ACCE 2008 on September 17, 2008 and will
receive the grand prize ... a full conference pass to any 2009 ICMI contact
center event in the United States, plus round-trip economy air travel to and
from the event from the major airport nearest the winner's residence. All
finalists will receive a print of the cartoon, with their respective caption,
signed by the artist who drew the cartoon.
Potential stories include new trends in call center automation, the
importance of great customer service, emerging customer service technology,
e-mail best practices, and improving the industry's image among consumers.
The exhibit hall, where 50+ leading companies will be demoing Call Center
solutions, will be open on Monday, September 15 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, Tuesday
from 10:30am - 5:00pm and Wednesday from 10:30am - 2:00pm.
